The Humanist Vegetarian Group, which is a national Group for humanists and secularists who are already vegetarians or are considering vegetarianism, has been launched.

It has been established as a special interest group of the British Humanist Association and is open to anyone supporting the principles of secular humanism who is interested in the vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.

There is no subscription fee. Membership of the BHA itself is encouraged but not required. Members have access to the general BHA website but, in the early stages, will have access to the BHA Members Forum only if they are members of the BHA. Eventually it is hoped that dedicated Vegetarian Group pages and a forum, or links to them, will be provided.
